ICGS Sagar in Maldives wef 01 Jan 2005
1. The ship had disembarked 86 tonnes of relief material at Male for southern group of islands. Her Helicopter and ship's company had been extensively used for helping the needy ashore including repair of diesel generators and supply of medicines, drinking water and medical relief by the ships medical team. 2. The ship's relief team comprising technical and medical personnel were disembarked by local boats on 06 Jan 2005 for carrying out emergency relief and medical care in folowing islands:-
4. Relief teams of ICGS Sagar had visited all the inhabited islands of Maldvies by 06 Jan 2005. The ship returned to Mumbai on 14 Jan 2005. | ||

ICGS Samar at Colombo
ICGS Samar sailed from Kochi 01 Jan 2005 and distributed relief material at Colombo on 02 Jan 2005. The ship returned to Kochi for a second run on 05 Jan 2005 and recommenced relief operations at Colombo wef 17 Jan 2005. The ship disembarked 101 tons of relief material on 18 Jan 2005. On 20 Jan 2005, the ship de-inducted 77 Army personnel of 402 Field Ambulance along with their equipment from Colombo and returned Kochi 21 Jan 2005.

ICGS Vigraha at Male
ICGS Vigraha Sailed from Kochi on 09 Jan 2005 to arrive Male 10 Jan 2005 and commenced relief operations. The ship was engaged in disembarkation of relief material in the Southern Group of Maldives Atoll. The ship departed Male on 21 Jan 2005 and returned Kochi on 23 Jan 2005 on completion of deployment.
